The Silver Shadow; Caribbean Luxe

Cruise Barbados, St Bart’s, Antigua, St Lucia, Grenada, Bequia, St Vincent And The Grenadines

Loch Lomand

6-13 November 2009

“The best cruise line in the world” ... We are doubly thrilled with this cruise 6-13 November 2009. First, it is aboard Silversea, rated the world’s best cruise line. Second, the price, due to New Departures’ relationship with Silversea, we’ve negotiated an extra-ordinary discount for this exceptional itinerary. It is one of those instances where “this price may not be advertised” is true. It is offered to you as a New Departures client. The brochure rate for the Vista Suites aboard the Silver Shadow is $4695.00 – we have a rate of $2997.00. Yes, that’s nearly 40 percent less per person.

The itinerary is wonderful! The small islands of the eastern Caribbean: Barbados, St Bart’s, Antigua, St Lucia, Grenada, Bequia, St Vincent And The Grenadines. And, as with all Silversea’s sailings, all beverages, even cocktails and champagne, are included. So are all gratuities. So you’ll know your bottom line costs; truly Luxe for Less!

If you have any questions or would just like to talk about it, you can give me a call or send me an email (Brian@NewDepartures.com).

Let’s go get spoiled!

Brian

PS: Single supplements are affordable.

Caribbean Luxe: You'll revel in the space, privacy and fine appointments of the Silver Shadow, where giving guests space and privacy is a priority. Their ships are like intimate and exclusive resorts. When you retreat to your suite, you'll be amazed at the space, privacy and fine appointments. Crisp bed linens, plush bathrobes, European toiletries and personalized stationery; nothing has been overlooked. Intimate public rooms aboard ship are conducive to meeting your fellow guests. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting, much like that of a fine private home.

Is it any wonder then, that year after year, Silversea receives the highest awards from authoritative guidebooks and prestigious publications on both sides of the Atlantic? Among the many awards and accolades consistently received, Silversea has been named number one in Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards, received a coveted “Six Stars” from Fielding’s Guide to Worldwide Cruises and was named “World’s Best Small Ship Cruise Line” by Travel + Leisure.

And while these awards reaffirm Silversea’s commitment to providing an onboard experience that knows no rival, the greatest reward comes from their guests, who return to them again and again.

Silversea - the art of travel. The art of good living.

We know that our clients and fellow travellers consider travel to be very personal–very important. Every detail must be looked at, every nuance fully realized.

Exclusive Excursions were designed to that end; part of a group, but not the herd. Heavens, we don’t want to be part of the herd and neither should you. The groups are small, there is ample time to explore on your own and there is always a New Departures’ staff member to gently assist.

Your Exclusive Excursion includes much more than just the mechanics of travel, but the hands-on, personal attention that will assure you a truly individual travel experience.

Your Voyageriver VIEW

6 November: Bridgetown, Barbados

Embark for a week of luxe. We sail at 11 PM.

7 November: at Sea

While we're at sea, enjoy wine tastings, designer boutiques, language and dance classes. Take in a matinee movie, slip away with a novel from the library to a sunny chaise or with a movie to your suite. Or just take in the sun pool side. The choice is yours.
8 November: Gustavia, St Bart’s

The tiny, eight-square-mile island of the French West Indies is one of the Caribbean’s precious gems. For a long time, St Barths was a well kept secret of the rich and famous. Discover the attractions of Gustavia, the island’s tiny capital located around a magnificent harbour.

9 November: St John’s, Antigua

Antigua’s 365 beaches, secluded coves, picturesque rolling hills and interesting historic sites are what make Antigua one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Caribbean.

10 November: Castries, St Lucia

This island has been one of the Caribbean’s best-kept secrets. The shoreline of St. Lucia is nothing short of spectacular . The two sugarloaf-shaped cones, known as the Pitons, are the island’s most impressive landmarks. The capital, Castries, is attractively situated in a sheltered bay against a backdrop of mountains.

11 November: St George’s, Grenada

A faint aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and other spices lingers over Grenada’s fertile lands. Often called the "Spice Island", Grenada has a lot more to offer than just spices. St. George’s, the picturesque, small capital, has long enjoyed the reputation of having the prettiest harbour in the Caribbean.

12 November: Bequia, St Vincent And The Grenadines

The Grenadines comprise a string of 100 tiny, rocky islands and cays, which are scattered between St Vincent and Grenada. Bequia, called "the island of the clouds" by the Carib Indians, is the largest of the St. Vincent dependencies. Apart from unspoiled beaches, the island's interior consists of hilly and forested terrain, interspersed with a variety of fruit and nut trees.

13 November: Bridgetown, Barbados

Disembark for your return to the “real” world.
